In 1872 the Aruba Island Gold-mining Company Ltd. built a large smelting works at Bushiribana on the North coast, for the gold that was being mined at Seroe Plat and in its surroundings. The smelting works was in use for only ten years, but its construction was so solid, that ruins thereof at the North coast are still quite impressive.
Towering stone boulders, placed in such close proximity and in unusual designs, combined with the tranquil environment of Ayo, create a sense of awe and an understanding of why the area was once considered a sacred site by the island’s original inhabitants, the Arawak Indians.

Permalink Buggods Performance and Body Shop website finally completed…
I am very proud to present my most recent baby, Buggods.com. The site was designed for a company specializing in Vintage car restoration and performance, and it was actually a pleasure to build because I am a vintage car freak myself.
Buggods desired a modern website that would not only incorporate their services and what the company is about, but also have a blog where the company can display their projects, and speak about their challenges and successes when it comes to restoring a classic car from start to finish. The site is also aimed to showcase projects in video, and use all forms of social and new media to market the company’s objectives .
All designs and illustrations were done under Nu Interactivo, which will be inaugurating its website very soon, so stay tuned for  the big event ;)

Editing my last wedding shoot at this time. Kellie and Chris’s has been my favorite wedding to photograph so far, especially because the only guests were their closest family. I think that is why everyone was having an amazing time.
I know our groom here, Chris, was having a little bit of hard time with the hot weather of Miami (I was too! so horribly hot that day!), but he was a great sport and very patient with everything that was going on, especially with me trying to make the best possible pictures.
This is one of my favorite photos of him.

April 2: Autism Awareness Day

The United Nations General Assembly declared April 2nd as World Autism Awareness Day. It celebrates the unique talents and skills of persons with autism and is a day when individuals with autism are warmly welcomed and embraced in events around the globe.

1 in 110 children are in the Autism Spectrum Disorder. My cousin Kike was diagnosed when he was 2 years old, he will be 23 on April 4th.

Today, I celebrate the life and purpose of my cousin Raul Enrique (Kike). I am proud of being a part of his family, of being his sister. Without him in my life, I would not have not been who I am today; I would not have loved like I love today; I would have not understand life as I understand it today.
